LITTLE DONAU FESTIVAL
3-5.9.2024
Donaukanal riverbank downstairs from Untere Donaustraße 41, 1020 Vienna "Little Donau - Euro-Asian Water Plays" is a cross-genre festival with a focus on visual arts, using the banks and water of the Danube Canal next to Central Garden for innovative artistic formats.
In a dialogue between artists from the larger Danube and Mekong river areas, the festival deals with the contradictory relationship between the life of the water and the human sphere.
Schwimmverein Donaukanal is featured in two artistic interventions - the boat parade and the rivertext karaoke - and you can join in, too! :)
